My name is Jerome, and welcome to my blog.

cabinetmeeting.net was launched in 2004, right before the presidential election.  The idea for the blog came from three guys who used to sit around a fire, have a few beers and talk politics.  Or as we called it, having our weekly ‘cabinet meetings’.

I’m a full time conservative and a part time blogger.  You’ll see I don’t post stuff every day because 1) I have a family and a full time job and 2) my job and family take up most of my days.  Yet if an article catches my eye, I’ll share it.  If something gets me thinking (which happens a lot), I’ll write about it.  If it means passing up on a little sleep to get it on the blog, so be it.  Pretty simple, eh?

Now that you’re here, join the conversation and make your voice heard.  And like I always say, “If you like the blog, tell a friend; if you don’t, tell a friend anyway.”
